returned to the farm for more picking,
having visited a couple weeks ago for strawberries,
which are now out of season.
took many tries before toby made anything
but a super funny face at rick's camera.
then sue and simon decided
to get in on the act,
rubbing rick's face in the fact that
he cannot roll his tongue
(though it's questionable from this shot
whether simon can either).
here are the gorgeous berries
we brought home.
the raspberries, appropriately called TITANS,
were the biggest, tastiest raspberries
we'd ever eaten.
sue, however, is partial to gooseberries,
which are sweet and sour
and super delicious.
no pics of the kids actually picking
because what pictures were taken
were taken with rick's camera,
which only yielded blurry results.
(ah, well, i'm sure we'll be there again
this summer for more picking.)
