check out the cool ABC door hanging my neighbors tom and connie gave me as an early birthday present. it maches the alef bet door hanging my parents gave me last chanukah.

our last night in town, i got to hang out with auntie meeryo's family. 
her parents, woongil and moohay, have known mommy a really long time (almost 25 years!).
i also met her horsies, veruca (chestnut)...
...and mick (white), who were both really gentle and sweet.
check out this house and car my neighbor gave me. he has moved on to bigger and better things, which is great for me!
mom's hand is in both pictures, because she was trying to keep it from my mouth.
lesley and i had such a great time together.
we won free admission to harness racing in a radio contest.
i had fun reading the program and picking my favorites to win.
one horsey even stopped to pose for me!
daddy set this shot up with the timer. we managed to get everyone except avi, my kitty, in it. i'm not looking, because the camera blinked and blinked and blinked. how was i to know when it would actually fire?

here i am with four of the michigan rizzos - uncle mike, aunt trish, cousin meagan and pinky white (formerly named kitty). i have two older cousins, matt and TJ, who stayed home this trip, so i'll have to meet my boy cousins later.
cousin meagan stuffed a bear and named her kitty.
i watched all the stuffing swirl around in a big machine.

dad and i stood behind a screen and "jewels" showered down around us.
then we stood behind another and butterflies landed on us.
in a different area of the museum, meagan made a "pizza" with assistance from her mommy, trish.
she and trish also rang up a total on the cash register.
i ate "ice cream" that managed not to melt on me.
this is my cousin meagan.
she lives in michigan and is visiting for the weekend.
she likes to play and shares really well. 
i think she's really cute.

yesterday i visited artie the lion at daddy's museum.
mommy, grandma and i went with my great great aunt iris, who is visiting from florida.
we saw seurat's "sunday in the park," but i wasn't terribly impressed. 
i was more interested in mommy's camera.
okay, so daddy gave me a little help. i cannot tell a lie.
mommy and i posed with paul bunyan and babe the ox.
we did, however, visit the farmyard.
an alpaca even leaned in for a kiss!
i can stand unassisted for brief spells.
i can also feed myself finger foods. (i waited nearly 10 months to try this and now realize what i was missing.)

dad and i watch kids on ponies. next year, maybe i'll ride!
next, we visited the dupage children's museum.
finally, we ate "really reese's" frozen custard at culver's. i didn't get a photo with my chocolate mustache, so instead, i'm sharing this winner of me with aunt julie. i hope she and tova visit again soon!

i got this cool towel that expanded in water from a tiny square.
dad pointed to mommy with the camera, but i was interested in something else.
she's a month older than i. she can stand unaided (not pictured)!
mommy and sherilyn know olivia's mommy evelyn from medical school.
mom and dad call tom a baby holder. he loves to hold babies. i always enjoy being in his arms.
they invited sherilyn's friend evelyn and her daughter olivia.
they also invited several other friends, including neighbors pam, chuck, tom, connie...
...sherry and amy.
great aunt dina is visiting, so she came too!
it was a really fun afternoon.
i was glad to spend time with my great aunt beth.
two of my great-aunts (grandpa's sister dina and grandma's sister beth) are visiting right now. my third great-aunt (grandpa's sister lesley) visits in august.
sherilyn and i are twins in our shirts. david should get one to fit in, don't you think?
