the annual rizzo halloween party has come and gone.
we had over 80 guests this year!
the theme was superheroes.
(toby: green lantern; simon: iron man; rick: spiderman;
sue: wonder woman (in a costume rick made from scratch,
including a skirt that he sewed!))
rick worked his usual magic in our front room.
only, this year, it wasn't a rabbit's hole or erupting volcano.
instead, it was a city scape with attacking robots
and pumpkin-headed superheroes to save us.
superman "flew" above the robot's head.
captain america's shield lit up red.
the skyline was dotted with light-up stars and moon.
sue, toby and simon drove a mater-like car
with functioning headlights,
shouting "ahhh...robots...help us, superheroes!"
superman, captain america, the hulk and spiderman
all dropped in.
serving the food in the dining room,
aka the "bat cave,"
were batman...
...and robin, the boy wonder.
