veggie garden in bloom

one month ago, we made a little vegetable garden in our backyard. this is what it looked like when first planted.

and here's what it looks like today!

so far, we've only had a some basil and a few strawberries - no other fruits or veggies.

but check out all these pretty flowers!

do you gardeners out there recognize any of these blossoms?

hope we'll have some yield - eggplants, cucumbers & more - soon!

yield or not, these flowers are awfully pretty and have definitely helped beautify our backyard.
