last saturday, simon's school
were invited to an Elks lodge
for breakfast with santa and mrs. clause.
mr. & mrs. clause delivered to the boys
presents which rick and i
had discreetly passed to them.
toby seemed quite delighted
with the gift santa and mrs. claus
had chosen for him.
(wink, wink!)
of course, on second thought,
he thought perhaps he'd been naughty
as he'd been given "coal."
okay, it was cole (not coal),
so he figured he'd been nice,
not naughty.
toby was perhaps more excited
to see simon's gift than simon was.
simon also got a lego watch -
his was yoda to match his new "yoda leg."
(he chose "clone wars" fabric
for his new socket design.)
the watches - which the kids can't read yet
(toby's learning) - are pretty cool.
lego figures attach to them.
all in all, not bad 10 days before christmas,
after a hanukkah filled with great presents
(mostly games and puzzles).
