tired in pittsford

guess we've been working the kids pretty hard.

simon fell asleep in the car this afternoon.

i carried him in the house, stood him up and...

...he fell asleep against me.

i made sure not to move as i checked email on my cell phone.

simon didn't seem the least bit bothered.

this evening, it was toby's turn to fall asleep in the car.

rick carried him and put him on the couch,

where he continued to sleep.

we tried waking him for dinner.  no go.

he stirred a bit, but wanted sleep, not food.

so i rocked him back to sleep (not hard).

it felt like old times.
