today we celebrated simon's first thanksgiving.
we were lucky to get one nice brothers shots
after several attempts...
...met by a rather snarky toby!
toby wasn't snarky for long, though.
he made each of us a specialized placemat.
when simon objected to his turkey,
toby drew him a scoopy portrait instead.

i couldn't resist documenting
simon's first few bites of thanksgiving dinner.
fred patiently awaits his bites....
...well, semi-patiently!
i bet fred's thinking:
"i've been in this family longer...
