today we celebrated toby's 4th at Enchanted Castle...
...where toby was treated like royalty.
as the birthday boy, he got a spin on the big wheel,
earning him 200 tickets!
he competed in a mummy contest,
earning him another 200 tickets.
(way to go, rick, for mummifying him so well!)
he enjoyed cupcakes with his friends.
(the cupcakes - some chocolate, others vanilla -
had M&Ms baked in them,
were frosted with chocolate,
were covered in fondant
and had gum paste & fondant race car toppers.)
the kids didn't care how they were made,
just that they were yummy!
after lunch, we drove go-karts.
(toby got to drive his favorite NASKART...M&M!)
a parent driving each kid...
...with nani bravely filling in where needed
(in this case, for a pregnant mom who couldn't drive).
and after go-karts, there was the arcade...
...as you can see, with rides suited to all ages.
we were super lucky to have nani corral simon.
that gave them one-on-one time...
...allowing us to take care of the guests and the photos!

(weird the dragon's name happened to be toby, huh?)
