i'm ready to play in the first snow
look how i've grown since last year!

okay, now back to winter 2010...
i'm much better this year at throwing snowballs
(for better or for worse)
the proof is in the pudding
mom liked our neighbors' light-strung, snow-laden tree
dad started a snow sculpture,
which i threatened to destroy
my nextdoor neighbor ella wandered over
she started throwing snowballs at me
i retaliated
then we teamed up against daddy
dad was oblivious (or so he pretended)
then boom, we got him!
there's no denying it...
...winter is here
